Postcard From The Wilderness #2
Questions
Hey, its me again. Sorry for the abrupt departure. That was rude. I’ll do better.
So, I know you have questions. So did I. So so SO many questions.
Things that just weren’t making sense.
Most people seem content to just ignore those little threads on the garmet.
Me? Not so much. I just start pulling and pulling and pulling.
Curiosity gets the best of me. Pull and pull and PLOP - the dang sleeve falls off.
“Why can’t you leave well enough alone?”
You know how often I’d heard that? But what is “well enough” but still sick.
Ever been sick and get “sick and tired” of being sick and tired?
I didn’t want to be “well enough”. I wanted to be completely whole. Healed if you will.
But I digress. Oh yes! Your questions.
“Why did you leave home? Turn your back on what you knew. Upend your life.”
“Where is this wilderness? What’s it like? Are there ammenities? Nice Air BNB?”
“Are you ok? Are you alone? What about your family? Your friends. Your job.”
“Who invited you? How do you know this person? Are they trustworthy? Safe?”
All very good questions. And I know there will be more.
But for now I have to go. Cross-Fit today. From what I hear, we’re going to be carrying livestock on our shoulders and running through an obstacale course! HA!
I have no idea where this guy gets this stuff. Absolutely insane! But I love it.
Till next time…
Peace
e
